Taking It A Step Further: How to Reuse Your PLR

Most online business owners make a crucial mistake with their PLR that limits their mailing list growth – they use it in only the format it came in. For example, you bought a PLR report on how to stop procrastinating. You broke it up into blog posts, created content upgrades, and called it done.

But the truth is you can switch up your PLR content by using different formats like changing text to audio. This can make your content stretch even further. Here’s how to use different formats to grow your list:

  • Turn a Report into Podcast Episodes

You’re probably using at least one PLR report or workbook as an opt-in gift. That’s great for a downloadable gift. But take your text and transform it into audio by creating podcast episodes.

This doesn’t mean you should have long podcast episodes where you read out the entire content. Instead, grab the main ideas from your PLR content and expand on them in audio. Add new insights and opinions. Brainstorm recommendations you forgot to include the first time around.

At the end of your podcast episode, let listeners know they can download the full report or workbook from your website. Then direct them to your opt-in page so they can sign up for your mailing list.

  • Live Stream an eBook Chapter

If you have an eBook as an opt-in gift, break it down chapter by chapter. Turn each chapter into a live video using a social media platform like Facebook Live or YouTube streaming.

Again, your goal is not to read the entire chapter to your viewers. You want to expand on the chapter by going deeper into it.

If some of the content has changed since you first uploaded it, then talk about that. For example, you might say, “In the eBook, I mentioned a graphics website that’s no longer online, now I recommend ABC tool. It has a similar layout and I like that it’s simple to download the images I’ve created.”

When you’re winding down, make sure to mention that visitors can download your eBook in its entirety on your website. Provide a link to your opt-in page in the comments section so viewers can easily sign up for your awesome gift.

  • Create a Challenge from Your Course

If your opt-in gift is a course, consider turning it into a challenge. This works especially well if your challenge is short (think 7-10 days) and has plenty of action steps that your followers can follow through on.

Create a Facebook group and invite participants. Let them know that they have to sign up for your mailing list and download the course in order to follow along.

Then show up in the group each day of the challenge. You can do this by starting discussions, creating homework assignments, or using Facebook Live to motivate your challengers.

At the end of each day’s assignment, remind your attendees to sign up for your mailing list so they don’t miss new challenges. Have a special opt-in page for these participants since your challenge can lead to a lot of new traffic and new subscribers.

Don’t fall into the trap of only using your PLR in only one format. You can recycle your favourite PLR pieces again and again.

Creating Content Upgrades with PLR

Many online business owners that use PLR, edit it and publish it on their blogs. They spend a few days promoting it then they let that post die a quiet death and they move on. The problem is that while the post may be informative for the reader, it doesn’t invite them to go deeper.

That’s what a content upgrade is all about. It’s a way of building on the blog content so that visitors are invited to become subscribers who will (hopefully) go on to buy your product or services.

But don’t freak out thinking that content upgrades have to be difficult. They’re easy to make. All you have to do is take the PLR you posted to your blog and turn it into an upgrade. Here’s how to do just that…

  • Create a Checklist

You know that tutorial you posted to your blog? Summarize each step in just one sentence. Then paste these steps into your favourite word processing software.

You can use the bullet point feature and select squares for an instant checklist. Now just save it as a PDF and you have a downloadable checklist to include with your tutorial.

  • Make a Worksheet

Take a PLR article and turn it into a worksheet. All you have to do is come up with 3-7 questions. For example, if your blog post is about overcoming fear, you may want the first question to be something like: “What were you afraid of as a child?”

Keep asking questions until you help your readers work through their fears. When you’ve finished, save your questions as a PDF and you have a worksheet you can use as a free content upgrade.

  • Design a Resource List

When it comes to creating a resource list, look at the tools or software mentioned in your PLR content. For example, if your PLR content is all about how to make beautiful graphics, it probably mentions websites like PicMonkey or Canva.

All you need to do is open a document and copy every tool listed in your PLR. Be sure to add links where necessary so subscribers can find what they need easily. Save your list and upload it to your website as a simple content upgrade.

  • Turn Your Post into a PDF

Sometimes, visitors want to keep your post for future reference. This is especially common for tutorials, recipes, and lists. So, make it easy for visitors to access your content again by providing a PDF of your post.

This is a content upgrade that’s deliciously simple. As soon as your newest post goes live, visit a website like Printer Friendly. Once your conversion is finished, upload your PDF to your website and you have another content upgrade ready to go!

Content upgrades can be simple and easy to make. It just takes a few minutes and you can turn any post into a conversion machine.

3 Fun Ways to Use PLR

When it comes to building your mailing list, there’s one secret weapon you should definitely be using: PLR content. Private label rights content is an ethical tool that’s easy to implement. Try using it in one of these three ways and watch what happens to your list…

  • Launch Multiple Opt-Ins

Opt-in gifts are like dangling carrots. They offer something the reader wants and motivates him or her to go deeper into your sales funnel. But having just one isn’t enough. If you really want to grow your mailing list, you need multiple gifts sprinkled throughout your website.

Having multiple opt-ins is especially important if you have several customer avatars. For example, you’re a business coach that helps women create recurring income. Customer avatar #1 is a service provider who’s looking for more passive income opportunities. She might like an opt-in gift about how to add more affiliate marketing to her business.

Customer avatar #2 is a stay at home mom who wants to make recurring income by writing books. Your opt-in gift might be a guide to self-publishing for new writers.

You’re helping these women discover recurring income but you’re also tailoring your opt-in gifts to meet the unique needs of each one.

  • Come Up with Blog Content + Upgrades

If you already have a few pieces of content that you want to use as opt-in gifts then you can find PLR on these topics to post on your blog. For example, maybe you wrote a short report on how to get started with self-publishing.

Then you’d want to find and purchase some PLR on the topic of Kindle publishing. Rewrite this PLR content and post it to your blog then add a strong call to action inviting visitors to sign up for your short report.

  • Funnel Traffic to Your Opt-In Page

Another way to use PLR content to grow your mailing list is to break down into social media posts. Look over a PLR article or blog post and take 5 sentences from it. Use those sentences as text updates on social media and link to your opt-in page.

If the PLR seller included images, you can use those too. First, brand them by your adding your logo or website name to them. Then upload them to social media sites. Link your followers to your blog posts to encourage sign-ups.

PLR content can help you grow your list quickly and easily. This gives you more time to spend growing your community.

How to Make Your PLR Content Unique

Private label rights content is content you purchase to use for your business. It’s often much cheaper than hiring a ghostwriter and it’s faster than creating the content yourself.

One of the drawbacks of PLR is that anybody can purchase it. But this doesn’t have to be a big deal for you. Instead, just take the PLR you’ve bought and customize it for your business by following these tips:

  • Change the Titles

The very first thing you want to do when using PLR is to change the title. When you search on Google, you can find millions of articles titled How to Choose the Right Lipstick Color or a subtle variation like Choosing the Right Lipstick for Your Skin Tone.

Now Allure magazine could have used that same tired title. But instead, they opted to use the headline, The 10 Commandments of Lipstick. This title leaves readers curious. It makes them wonder if they know all ten of these lipstick rules, which causes them to click through to the website.

  • Rewrite When Necessary

If you're publishing the PLR content to your blog and you want to get organic search traffic, rewriting is a must. That’s because search engines love original content that’s entertaining and informative. In this case, think of the PLR you buy as a starting point and make it your own.

But when you’re using PLR in other cases, you don’t have to rewrite every word of the content you purchased. If you’re using PLR in your autoresponder or as an opt-in report, just lightly edit it with references to your target market.

You’ll also want to add in your own opinions and stories to make the content unique to your community. Doing this establishes you as a thought leader in your niche.

  • Add a Call to Action

PLR content will often lack a call to action at the end. That’s because the PLR seller doesn’t know exactly what you’re focused on in your business right now. So it’s your job to add CTAs to the content you’ve purchased.

Think about where your readers are in terms of your funnel. If this is content that’s on your blog, then you want to include a call to action that invites visitors to become subscribers. If it’s a free report that you’re giving to subscribers, your call to action might be recommending they buy a product or service from you. Regardless of what PLR you use, always add a CTA to encourage your community to go deeper into your funnel.

Making your PLR content unique is important but it doesn’t have to be time-consuming. You only need to spend 15-20 minutes editing the content before you share it with your community.

3 Surprising Facts about PLR Content

3 Surprising Facts about PLR Content

Lily built a thriving coaching business. She loved serving her clients but she wanted to expand to offer more services like group coaching without increasing her workload. Veronica, Lily’s friend, told her about private label rights content or PLR.

“It’s content that a writer or marketer creates and sells to their customers. With private label rights, you can use the content as you and post it online as if you wrote it.” Veronica went on to explain, “You’re free to edit or change the content if you like. You can even add your own thoughts and opinions if you want to.”

If you’re like Lily and you’re new to the world of PLR content, here are three surprising facts you should know about it…

  • Fact #1: It isn’t stealing to use PLR content.

Stealing content is finding an article online and copying the whole thing to your own website. It doesn’t matter if you credit the author or not. If you take more than a paragraph or two, you’ve violated copyright law because you didn’t have the right to copy that material.

With PLR content, the seller is giving you the right to copy their material. Most PLR providers even allow you to change the content if there’s a point you disagree with or if you want to add your own opinion to the work.

  • Fact #2: It isn’t unethical to use PLR content.

PLR content is usually created by a ghostwriter. Ghostwriters create content with the knowledge that their name will not go on the content. They know this upfront and they don’t mind. In fact, many ghostwriters enjoy what they do because they get the chance to educate and inform readers while writing on a variety of topics.

PLR content is also used by many different types of businesses. For example, politicians rarely write their own speeches.  Most athletes don’t write their own autobiographies, choosing instead to work with ghostwriters.

It’s perfectly ethical to use PLR content to serve your community and it’s one of the fastest ways to grow your business.

  • Fact #3: People you respect are using PLR, you just don't know it.

Thousands of online business owners use PLR to power their businesses. It’s how they’re able to produce so many blog posts, podcast episodes, Facebook Live videos, and more.

The simple truth is trying to create all of your content on your own can be exhausting. But PLR is an affordable solution that’s easy to customize for your community with just a few subtle tweaks.

Questions to Ask

Questions to Ask When Choosing a PLR Product

When you choose a PLR product you are choosing a product that you can sell in order to make money. Thus, you want to ensure that it has the potential to shift as many units as possible so that you can maximize your turnover, revenue and profits.
More to the point though, you're also selecting a product that is going to be representing you and your brand. This is going to be a product that you market as something you made and if itís anything less than brilliant, then youíll risk damaging your reputation and your brand.
With all that in mind then, read on and weíll take a look at some of the crucial checks you need to make before settling on a PLR product.

What's the Niche?
First, you need to ensure that the niche is something that youíre happy to associate with and that you have some basic interest/knowledge in. If itís something that you know well, youíll find it much easier to promote it. Better yet, if itís a niche that you already have an audience in, then youíll have a ready-made audience you can sell it to!

Who is the Target Audience?
Once you know the niche, you can then start to ask who the target audience is. Ideally, you want an audience that is easy to reach and that is likely to be willing to spend money on PLR products!

What Extras Does it Come With?
A high-quality PLR product should come with a host of free extras that can help you to sell more copies. These will traditionally include marketing materials such as sales pages and emails you can send out but as well as that, they will also often include bonus materials such as mind maps and cheat sheets. The more extras, the more value you're getting and the more value you can pass on to your customers.

Questions to Ask When Choosing a PLR Product
How is it Selling Currently?
Depending on the seller, you might be able to access data regarding current sales. This will give you an idea as to how many books are being sold right now, which in turn demonstrates the kind of success that you are at least capable of having with an ebook.

Is it Well Written?
This is one of the most important considerations of all: how the book is written. If the book is written in pidgin English, then youíll damage your brand and upset your customers if you sell it at full price.

Materials to Look

Materials to Look for When You Buy a PLR Package

A PLR package normally includes an ebook or digital product that you are allowed to resell to other buyers, along with various other ëextrasí that will help make that easier. These extras are essentially marketing materials that you can use to promote your product, add value and encourage more ëconversionsí. Itís extra value for you and if everything goes to plan, it will increase your turnover while reducing the amount of work you need to do to encourage sales.
So, what kinds of extras can you expect to find included when buying PLR products? Just a few examples include:

Sales Pages
A sales page is a page designed entirely to help you sell a product. This is a page for a website that has no other purpose than to guide new visitors to the action button (the ëbuy nowí button) and thereby help you to make a sale.
This singular aim means that the page will be designed with no external links and all the content will be written specifically to encourage people to want to buy from you. Itís a very powerful tool and a great freebie to have in place.

Mind Map
A mind map is just one example of a free gift you can offer along with your ebook. This is a quick visual reference that your buyers can use to recap on everything they learned in the book.
Resource Sheet
Similarly, a resource sheet will normally show people where they can find further reading or tools related to your topic. If youíre an affiliate for any products, this is a great place to sneak in a few URLs!

Blog Posts
Blog posts can be used to create your own blog or alternatively, they can be given away to other bloggers to use as ëguest postsí. Include a link back to your page and thatís some easy marketing for you!

Email Content
Likewise, itís common to find that you get ready-made email campaigns including the email bodies and the subject lines. All you need to do is enter these into an autoresponder in order to start driving traffic to your sales page.

Free Report
A free report will often act like a ëpreviewí for your book. It can incentivize people to sign up to your mailing list, all while demonstrating the kind of excellent information and content they can expect if they order your full product.

How to Write a Killer Sales Page

How to Write a Killer Sales Page to Move PLR Products

Once you've chosen a PLR product and you have the right to start editing it and selling it, the next thing you need to do is to consider how youíre going to promote it and convince people to part with their cash.

There are many potential answers to this but one of the most important things to consider is the sales page. The sales page is the page on which youíll be trying to convince visitors to part with their cash and with the right design and phrasing, you can get people who were maybe on the fence to change their minds. Here are some tips to help you do that with the perfect sales scriptÖ

Grab Attention
The first thing to realize is that people are in a hurry most of the time. Chances are that they landed on your site by accident and probably want to leave quickly so they can get on with their daily activities. Your job is to convince them to stick around just a bit longer and the best way to do that is to grab their attention with a strong opening.
One of the best options here is to use a narrative structure. Make it a story because people naturally want to listen to stories through to the end and because stories are great for inspiring emotion.

Make it Skimmable
People are intimidated by large blocks of text and especially because ñ as we just saw ñ they tend to be in a hurry. Itís your job then to make sure your content is easily skimmable with lots of headings and lots of nicely spaced out paragraphs.

Focus on the Value Proposition
Most important of all is to ensure that you are focussing on the ëvalue propositioní. This is the way in which your product can provide value and this should involve some kind of tangible improvement to the customerís life. For example, maybe your product is going to make them more confident, help them to feel better in the morning when they wake up and potentially have more success with the ladies/men. If youíre selling an ebook on fitness, then that is what you want to focus your text on, not the number of pages youíre offering!

Make Them Buy
Finally, make sure that your customers arenít going to leave to ëthink oní. Chances are that theyíre not going to come back. Instead, introduce a limited time offer or make up something about the limited stock. Doing this will add time pressure and that will make them want to act quickly.

A Squeeze Page

How to Use PLR Products With a Squeeze Page

If you are trying to sell a PLR product, then you will need to create a high-quality sales page that will help you to demonstrate all the good qualities of that product while encouraging your audience to make a quick impulse purchase.

But this is only one type of ëpageí youíll be using to sell your items and to build your leads. Just as important is a ësqueezeí page. This is a page that youíll use to convince people to sign up for a mailing list and it's highly important because from there, you will then be able to get them to buy from you over the course of several emails.

And in order to create a successful squeeze page, chances are youíll be using another type of PLR product ñ called a ëfree reportí or an ëincentiveí.

How it Works
The general idea is simple: by giving away a free PDF that contains information that your audience wants, you will encourage people to sign up for your mailing list. They sign up, you send the report and hopefully, they then enjoy what they've read and made a note that they will want to read more of what you have to say in future.
From there, you then provide more value through messages and eventually, you offer your real paid product that they can buy off you for full price.

How to Get it Right
What ís important though is that you word your squeeze page correctly and use the right kind of incentive. The big risk here is that you encourage people to sign up only because they want something free. From there, they then might unsubscribe or alternatively just never read another email from you.

One way to get around this is to make the incentive something relatively small and to emphasize how much better the full product is. Another tip is to make the freebie in some way incomplete so that if they enjoy that offer, theyíll then be keen to get the full thing. A good way of doing this is to make your incentive the first chapter of a larger book, or perhaps one tip of 27. Always leave them wanting more.

And finally, make sure that the emails themselves are also providing value. This way, your audience will be keen to keep opening them even after theyíve collected their free offer.

High Quality Before You Buy It

How to Tell if a PLR Product is a High Quality Before You Buy It

Want to make a product from a PLR product?
Then the single most important thing to ensure is that the product in question is high quality. The better the quality of your product, the easier you will find it is to sell. Not only that, but it will also help you to avoid giving out lots of refunds and it will make it easier to make repeat sales.

The only problem is that you wonít know just how well-made the product is until you start selling it. Or will you? Here are some methods you can use to at least increase the chances of finding a winner rather than a dudÖ

Check the Website
Is the website generally well designed? Does it have high production values? And what is the content around the site like? If the site is low quality, this generally doesnít bode well for the quality of the content being sold either. Consider that a big warning sign!

Look for a Preview
Many PLR sites will let you read previews or snippets of their books and courses. If the site youíre on does not provide that option, then perhaps get in touch with the owner to see if theyíll let you have a free sample.

Check out the top
Most sites that sell PLR content will include a table of contents for you to see. This shows you precisely whatís in the book and while it wonít guarantee quality, it at least gives you some assurance that the topics being tackled will be interesting.

Does it Have Something to Say?
When considering the ToC and the title for that matter, ask yourself whether the book has something worthwhile and original to sell. One of the biggest warning signs that a book is just a ëcash grabí, is if the subject matter is purely focussed on making money. Does it sound genuinely interesting? Does it offer something a bit different from 99% of all the other books out there? Or is it just a generic ëHow to Make Money Onlineí ebook?

Is it Right for You?
Just as important as ensuring the ebook is high quality is to ensure that it fits with your brand, your website and your ethos. If you know the subject well if it ís something you're genuinely interested in and if you already have a large audience that enjoys the same niche, then these are all very good signs!

How to Overcome the Barrier to Sale to Sell More PLR Products

Your job if you are selling PLR products is to convince people who land on your website to make a purchase. You already have the product and you may even have purchased marketing materials along with it to convince people to visit your page. From here, it is up to you to ëseal the dealí by getting people to buy and that means you need a page that converts.

Partly this is down to the sales script but on top of that, it is also down to the way that you have presented the sales page and what it conveys. Most importantly, itís down to your ability to overcome the ëbarriers to saleí ñ the points of resistance that we all meet when considering making any purchase. Here are some tips that can help you to break through those barriers in your customersí minds.

Trust
One of the big challenges you face as a seller is getting your buyer to trust you. They need to believe that when they make a purchase from you, they will get their product and you wonít just run off into the sunset with their money. Likewise, they need to trust that the product is good and that the checkout system you are using works.

This starts with the legwork you do long before you try to secure a sale. Having a high-quality blog and building a relationship with your audience will allow you to gain their trust and demonstrate the kind of value you can offer.

Another important tip is to use a recognized payment processor. The one we most often recommend for this is PayPal, which is something that everyone has at least heard of.

Finally, always make sure you are offering a full money-back guarantee if they donít like it. By removing the risk this way, youíll find more people buy from you. Only very few will actually use the guarantee but the money you gain will far outweigh the money you lose.

Ease
Another consideration is the ease with which your visitors can buy. Most people buy based on an impulse rather than a logical consideration and if they have to spend a lot of time fiddling with payment details, then you may lose that advantage.

This is another reason to use a simple payment method like PayPal. Better yet? Sell them something cheap and small first before you push bigger items. This will help you to demonstrate youíre trustworthiness and save their payment details for later!

How to Become a Big Blogger

The most important thing you can do to sell more PLR copies will happen long before you actually start making sales. It's the legwork you do before trying to convince someone to buy that will ultimately determine the likelihood that they wíll make a purchase, which means building trust and authority as an important thought leader in your niche.

In other words, if you already have a huge number of fans who love the work you do and who hang off your every word, then you'll find it much easier to get them to buy from you in the future.

So how can you get to that point? Here are some important pointers to help guide the way

Choose a Niche That You're Passionate About

The first thing you need to do to start building trust and influence is to pick a niche that you're absolutely passionate about and that you truly love. This is really important because it is what is going to help you to demonstrate your knowledge. If you pick something you have no interest in, then not only is it going to come across in your lack of true enthusiasm, but you'll also struggle to bring anything genuinely new or useful to the subject.

Deliver High Quality

From there, you need to ensure that you are delivering consistent quality. Whether you write blog posts or make YouTube videos, your job is to ensure that every single thing that people read from you is truly interesting and engaging. That way, you will set a precedent for yourself to assume that all your future work will be as high quality.

Let Them Get to Know You

You don't have to have a personal brand to build trust but it certainly will help. Let your audience feel as though they're getting to know you and you'll find that they are more likely to consider you almost as a friend. And we trust our friends! Social media is great for this.

Invest in Production Values

Thinking of making your own logo in MS Paint? Think again! A highly polished website with professional looking videos will be much more likely to inspire sales versus something that looks like it was cobbled together in your Mum's basement. Invest in yourself with some high-quality production.

10 Ways to RePurpose Private Label Content

Private Label Rights refers to a type of license that you can purchase along with a product that will give you the right to sell a product with no limitations. This often refers to digital products and allows you to buy something like an ebook or an online course and then sell it to others.
But thatís, not even the best part. The best part is that you can also edit a PLR product to your heartís content, thereby helping it to better fit your branding and your message, or altering it to add value.
What this also means is that youíre free to re-use the content in other ways too.

For example:
Make a Video
You can create a slideshow using the content from an ebook or read it out and thereby ëperformí said content.

Make a Podcast
Likewise, you can perform the content without any visuals to accompany it and that way makes an audiobook or a series of podcast episodes.

Make a Larger Book/Package
Want to offer even more value than you already are? Then how about combining content from multiple Ebooks into an ultimate package of some sort. This way, you can give someone a truly comprehensive experience that will be worth more than the asking price of each book individually.

Make Multiple Shorter Ebooks
A clever way to charge more for your ebooks is potentially to separate them into multiple shorter books. This way you can create a series, with each one encouraging your visitors to read the rest.

Make a Short Report
A report is normally a short PDF that provides information on a particular topic or subject matter. If you can take a single chapter from your book or a forward, then this can be used as an incentive to collect more downloads.

Make a Memberís Site
Or why not take your ebook entirely apart and seal it behind a pay-wall? This way, you can sell access to a repository of information.

Make a Real Book
Using Lulu or Amazon, you can self-publish your ebook and start selling it as a real, hard-copy tome!

Make a Kindle Book

5 Ways to Customize a Private Label Ebook to Make it Your Own

One of the best things about a PLR ebook is the way that it allows you to make changes and edits to your heartís content. This is now your creation and itís up to you what you want to do with it to all extents and purposes.
So, the only question that remains isÖ what do you want to do with it?

Give it a New Title
Changing the title of your ebook is a good way to prevent people from seeing the same product being marketed over and over again on different sites. At the same time, changing the title of an ebook can subtly change the way that readers will interpret the content within. You can that way slightly alter the target demographic, or subtly alter the way that readers will interpret the book.

Reword the Content
Changing the title will change the way that people interpret your content slightly. Changing the content itself though will of course have a much bigger impact. This way you can change the voice to better suit your own, you can add or remove sections, you can alter conclusionsÖ you could even throw in a few affiliate links or plugs for your other products.

Add More Content
A simple way to add more value to an ebook youíre selling is simply to write a few more pages or even to add more content from another PLR product you own. Why not combine several into one ëmegaí book?

Get the Cover Redesigned
One step further than changing the title of your ebook is to change the cover entirely. You should find this relatively simple, as most PLR product sellers will include Photoshop files for you to edit as you please. Otherwise, you could always outsource this process to someone from Fiverr and have it redesigned from the ground up.

Add Your Branding
One big reason to redesign the cover in the first place is so that you can create better synergy with the rest of your branding. The aim here is to create a single cohesive design and message that will run through all of your different products and services. This helps people better understand what your brand is all about and build the kind of trust you need to make sure they want to buy subsequent products that you sell. Itís always important to think about the long game!

4 Tricks to Help You Improve Your PLR (Private Label Rights) Reselling Business

Selling PLR (Private Label Rights) products is one of the simplest businesses to get started with. You are simply buying a product and then selling it on to a large audience and best of all is that a lot of the marketing material you’ll use is already made for you! This is a ‘copy and pastes’ business model and it’s almost foolproof!

But while that’s true, it’s also true that there are many things you can do to make your business more successful and increase sales. In this guide, we’ll look at four powerful methods you can use to do that and to start selling more items.

Sell a Physical Copy

Did you know that sites like LuLu and Amazon’s Self Publishing platform allow you to turn digital books into real hard-copy books? These sites use something called ‘PoD’ which stands for ‘Print On Demand’. That means that copies are made only when books are ordered, in turn meaning you won’t cost yourself anything if you don’t make sales. But being able to offer a physical version of your book will help it appeal to more people and it will be useful for your marketing.

Make a Video

You can sell your books through a sales page or through email marketing, but why not take it one step further by making a video? Videos are fantastic for conveying emotion as well as for grabbing attention and if you add a video that autoplay at the top of your sales page, then you’ll find that a lot more people stick around for longer.

Add a Special Offer

Special offers are great for encouraging more sales and convincing people who otherwise might have missed the boat to change their minds and make a purchase. Consider offering a two-for-one package, or giving money off for a limited time only.

Offer a Money-Back Guarantee

One of the biggest challenges you’ll have when getting your visitors to turn into customers is getting them to take the leap to buy for the first time. To do this, you need to overcome their fear of risk among other things. One way to do that is to offer a money-back guarantee. You might be worried that everyone will start returning their products as a result but don’t worry – people don’t tend to take advantage of these offers and anyway, you won’t lose anything if they do!
